# Sign In to Your UHC Member Account with HealthSafe ID

> Learn how to sign in, register, and recover access to your UnitedHealthCare member account using HealthSafe ID across all UHC member portals.

All UnitedHealthCare member portals use **HealthSafe ID** as a single, secure sign-in system. Whether you're accessing uhcmemberhub.com, myuhone.com, or the student health portal, your HealthSafe ID credentials give you unified access to your coverage and benefits.

## Which Portal Do You Need?

Before signing in, make sure you're using the right portal for your plan type. Using the wrong portal will not show your plan information even if your credentials are correct.

## Personal Representative Sign-In

If you are managing a UHC account on behalf of another member — such as a spouse, parent, or dependent — you can sign in as a **personal representative**:

1. Visit the [personal representative portal](https://www.healthsafe-id.com/rt/login/uhcpr/en)
2. Register with your own HealthSafe ID credentials
3. Link to the member's account using their member information

Personal representatives can view plan details, ID cards, and benefits on behalf of the authorized member.

## Account Security Tips

Protecting your HealthSafe ID account helps keep your health information private. Follow these best practices:

* **Never share your password** with anyone, including UHC representatives
* **Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA)** for added protection against unauthorized access
* **Update your password regularly** and avoid reusing passwords from other sites
* **Sign out** of the member portal when using a shared or public computer
* **Monitor your account** for unfamiliar activity — if you notice changes you didn't make, contact member services immediately

<Note>
  HealthSafe ID is managed by UnitedHealth Group. If you need account support that cannot be resolved online, call the member services number on the back of your ID card.
